Pre-nominations are now closed. If your nominee's qualifications are verified, you will receive an email with directions on how to upload your nominee's documents. Please read  2011-2012 Nomination Procedures.  Deadline for full nomination submission has been extended to April 20, 2012. Please direct all questions to snoty@gasn.org

SELECTION CRITERIA
1- Pre-requisite Nomination must be submitted no later than March 15, 2012.

2- Complete Nomination package must be submitted electronically no later than April 20, 2012.

3- Nominee must be a confirmed member of GASN and documentation must inlcude all other required information requested on nomination forms.

4- Limit application to a total of 20 pages, excluding nomination form and cover sheet, submitted electronically.

5- Members of the committee will review all nominations. Those nominees not meeting minimum criteria will be rejected. Points will be deducted for missing required information.

6- Applicants for School Nurse of the Year and School LPN of the Year will be evaluated on: quality of care, performance appraisal, ethics, education, collegiality, collaboration, research, resource utilization, communication, program management and health education,

7- Applicants for School Nurse Administrator of the Year will be evaluated on clinical practice leadership, administrative leadership, professional development, professional advocacy activity, community involvement and research.
