Ms. Wilson works tirelessly to continue learning and teaching the nurses who work with her. She is dedicated to helping them create a healthy environment in their schools.  She researches and provides up to date education so they can flourish.

Valerie Homer, RN
Forsyth County

Valerie exceeds in the Standards of School Nursing Practice by collaborating with parents and teachers, having effective communication skills, and providing safety and health education to her staff. Valerie practices nursing in an ethical manner, treating each student and parent with respect. 

 

LPN School Nurse of the Year

Butts County

For 17 years Sandy has always been a constant compassionate, caring, organized, resource ready, and competent school nurse. She is definitely a respected professional who is easy to approach by others and makes problem solving about her students a welcome challenge.
